Will there be another addition to the line-up next year? Not a chance. We're in mutual agreement that 3 kids under 4 is about as much as we can handle.

Such a wonderful family. As the father of four, I believe that everyone should know the joy of four kids.
Trust me, there is no difference in the noise level between three and four. The big jump is from two to three.

We are stopping at two.
A number of friends have confirmed John's statement, that the big jump is from two to three. And two is proving to be a big bite since both parents work 100%
We've just finished doing our traditional "photo calendar of the kids for the grandparents at Christmas" and it is shocking to see how quickly the expressions change - and how we never see these changes, as they happen so gradually.
Looks like Felix doesn't like socks.

The socks thing seems to be about the photographer. My son's nursery photos came back with them sockless each year. I think they are without shoes in the school one but with socks!

Funnily enough, we got another set of photos back today (from another toddler group) and again Felix has no socks on. Apparently, as Caroline points out, it's a standard thing. According to Karne they said it because with socks on they "look like they've got no feet".
That said, Felix generally doesn't like clothes full stop and has a reputation for getting naked. His favourite trick is to go up to his room, strip off, put a pair of underpants on his head then burst in to the room shouting "Me pants man!". Normally when we have guests.

We've (only) got 1 and that's been more than enough.
She was born with a hole in the heart and underwent open heart surgery when she was 5 months old.
Thankfully she's doing well now (despite some lingering side-effects) but the stress, and spending every minute you're not at work at the hospital for nearly a year was not an experience I'd recommend, so there's no chance of another!
On another note, I won't hear a bad word said about the NHS from our experience. The service has been unbelievable.

One of the reasons we're stopping having kids is that we're well aware how blessed and lucky we are to have 3 healthy children. Having more would just be tempting fate.
Like you I have a lot of praise for the NHS (well apart from when they wouldn't sew my leg up when I fell through a shop window (drunk) and I had to hobble six miles home from the hospital dripping with blood - but I can't say I blame them for that).

We just had our second child eight months ago. I'm planning on scheduling my vasectomy next month.
