The Year In Review - 2007

This is how the year has stacked up in terms of newly-added content on this site and in comparison to recent years:

200720062005
Blogs119148180
Responses159824442933
Articles284
Sandbox downloads505

As you can see there's a year-on-year decrease in content levels. Easily explained away by the fact I am becoming busier at work and that a baby entered the equation in late '06. The content is still there though and you shouldn't let the above table worry you in any way. It will keep coming throughout '08 too!

I've just spent some time going through all 119 blogs from this year and reminded myself what I've been posting. What surprised me was how much of it was of a personal nature and how little was actually technical and useful. Of the latter here are what I'd consider the "high points":

It might not look an impressive list considering it took a year to build, but there's a lot of useful stuff in there, if I do say so myself.

For the year coming up I have lots of useful goodness in the pipeline to share with you all. Stay tuned! For now I just want to wish you all a happy new year!!

  1. I'm not telling you to rest on your laurels, but even though you post less technical stuff, you still have the best repository of tips, tricks and techniques for Domino (Web) Developers.

Seconding Tommy - by far, Jake, yours is the best repository of Domino tips and tricks. The personal content keeps your friends up to date without them needing to pester you with emails, so knock on effect is positive I should think. :-)

Looking forward to a great new year for all. Best wishes in the coming year to the Rockall Staff and family. ;-)
