The alternative to the mental workout I mentioned yesterday is quite the opposite: I can sit in the other room with Karen and watch soap-operas followed by a dose of Big Brother banality. Not my cup of tea.

Talking of Big Brother, can you remember me linking to my first friend to start a blog? Well, he's still at it after a year and it's still as good as ever. Now he's gone even further and organised Big Blogger 2005, which starts today.

Fifteen "blogmates" are set tasks over the next seven weeks and slowly voted out until there's only one left.

I can't help feeling he's risking a stern lawyer's letter. Oh well, in absence of anything better to talk about today I thought I'd send over some viewers.
