A Belated New Article
Yesterday I published JuneMay's article. The follow-up to this one about a "relational Domino". There are a couple of things troubling me though.
First that I back-dated the article so it looks like I managed to keep to my word and publish an article a month, throughout the year, as they pass. This time I slacked and it took me until three days in to June to finish it off. The only reason I back-dated it really is so I can't cheat twice and make it look like it's June's submission. Either way it's there now.
Half the reason it took me so long to complete is that it's an article I knew I wouldn't enjoy writing. It's nothing to do with Domino really and it's just me "fluffing" up an article which is there merely to make the demo database available. There's too much code to cover in one article and do it justice. It's best to simply open in Designer and see how it fits together. With the content of the article explaining the individual elements it should make sense.
Because I didn't feel the direction I normally do with other articles I think it shows in that it's poorly written. Which is the other thing bothering me. Don't worry though, I ain't loosing sleep over it. Just thought I'd own up to it in case any of you noticed. Won't let it happen again...
