April's Article

Had any of you noticed it was nearing the end of April and I am yet to produce an article? Remember I promised at least one article a month? Well, I'm half way through this month's article and hope to get it out to you before Monday. It's the first part of two articles and is going to be called something like "Making Domino Behave Relationally". A daring title, I know. All the more apt though as Domino 7 goes in to beta and we see the first signs of DB2 integration.

Making Domino relational? Although the article really does nothing of the kind it does offer a nice way to do things that otherwise would have needed a lot of iffy coding. You'll just have to wait and see.

I'll leave you with a link to Julian's list of performance enhancing Domino tips. Have nice weekends....

  1. Hey there Jake. A buddy of mine and I got into this yesterday. I posted something a little shocking (even to myself) after some frustration on a current project regarding converting a Notes app to SQL. Anywho, kinda funny, so here's a link:

  2. I mis-read your post. I thought the title of the article was going to be "Making Domino Behave Rationally".

That would have made interesting reading!

Or maybe even "Making Domino Behave Reasonably"

  3. I see you're having a really busy Friday afternoon, Jake.

BTW: why is the time stamp so out of whack?

P.S. How about "Making Domino Behave Predicably" ?

  4. ... or even "Predictably" ?!!?
