CSS Monday
My "blog this" folder has a whole load of CSS links in it. I had hoped to somehow join them all together in a meaningful and clever way. Instead I will just pass them all on. Hopefully you will find them useful:
- Something you've probably all seen by now anyway, the CSS Zen Garden. Relax and search for divine inspiration.
- A SitePoint article introducing the use of CSS for positioning elements on your pages.
- Listamatic - shows numerous example of using the HTML list element to create things navigation links like we're used to with Notes Outlines.
- A stopdesign entry that talks about the difference between absolute and relative positioning.
- Using CSS to create rollover images that require no pre-loading. An example.
- Adding hover-over effects to tabs with SimpleBits' Mini-Tab Shapes.
- A vision of the future with a look at what to expect of CSS version 3.
- An interesting post from stopddesign, again. This time discussing whether or not content and presentation really can be separated.
If you thought CSS was just about changing font colours easily, you were wrong!
This is awesome. So often, I had wanted to change the list elements style, now I have so many choices to select from.
Now I need to steer my boss away from building apps for netscape 4.x.
Thanks for the invaluable links. Though I knew codestore existed long before, my recent visit ( a few weeks back ), has made me come here everyday, since then. I might as well set this as my homepage.
