Fancy Notes Icons
Have you seen the Notes icon for the Mac? It's really nice. Takes me back to my days as school marbles champ. Well, I can reveal that, while Lotus were planning all three clients for the Mac OS, they drafted these beauties. Aren't they nice:
Okay, okay. I'm fooling with you. As far as I know Lotus never planned these Domino 6 clients for the Mac. Would be nice though wouldn't it! The icons are actually something I've cooked up using this nice little application called Can Combine Icons. Using the Notes icon as a base and icons from the IconFactory I've had some Friday fun.
Wait, there's more. Some of them might even come in useful somewhere. If you choose to ignore the copyright infringements that is. I'm thinking of using one of them as the icon for the next version of the DomBlog template. Here are a load more of them for use at your own risk.
Anyway, as you may have noticed, I am back on my feet now. There's a lot of stuff in the codestore pipeline and so many blog topics that I've had to add the ability to but them in to draft mode for future publication.

I kinda like the whole "battery gets low and wipes the entire machine" thing ... I'm keeping him.
Can I download a file for use on my mac and XP? I don't see that other then the page of them. I want the individual icons. Is that possible?

David, to get an individual icon you need to use a graphics editor to cut the large image in to smaller pieces.

Hi, just wondering what is the best way to get them in as a notes database icon? I try to copy them, reduce the size and past into the icon editor in notes but it looks terrible.
Any ideas?
