Mozilla 1.1

What I've learnt today - In Spanish, Domino translates to "I dominate". How do I know? Becuase I was translating this page using the BabelFish Translator.

SchizoBrowser Mozilla 1.1 was released yesterday. Launching it for the first time today I was shocked to see that I was being welcomed to "Netscape 6.1". Even the icon contains hints of its past. That ship steering wheel will always mean Netscape 4 in my mind. Bin it! Netscape could do with something in the line of Skoda's recent marketing re-invention.

Can anybody using a news-crawler that points to my (since removed) RSS feeds please delete them. Thanks.

    Jake, you may wish to bin Mozilla, but it certainly has become faster and more stable. Furthermore, it is a relief to be able to surf MSFT-lessly on multiple platforms. And it has some cool things for web developers such as yourself. Tried right-clicking on a selected text ? View just the source of the selection.

    I don't want to bin Mozilla. I meant the steering wheel logo thingy. I am using Mozilla as we speak ;o)

  1. Hi Jake,

    Good effort on the spanish. Being spanish my first language I can tell you that, if domino was a verb, and its accent was in the middle syllable: do-MI-no, it means what "I dominate". As a noun the accent will go on the final syllable, and will make it mean the well known game where it got its name from.

    The site you refer is interesing, but they did not spell your name right.

  2. how about latin ;)

    Domino = Lord ?
