Finally some standards

What's that? CodeStore in valid XHTML format? Surely not!

Valid?

Not only that but it's a version in PHP. Bit rusty but I'm getting there. Don't worry I'm not about to switch this site from Domino. Just having some "fun".

Talking of fun here's some satire that made me laugh today. And, via Will DeLano, yet more scientific reearch that just proves what we all knew already...

    Thanks Chris. ;o)

Right now, I wouldn't blame Jake dumping Domino (and therefore us Domino developers). It DOES look like (more) fun though, I've seen so many great forms laden sites using php. I'd just love to have simlilar control over the markup produced by Domino. Validating XHTML is one thing, another is being able to prevent Domino making decisions FOR me all the time. The latest thing to do my *grunt*ing head in is "<META NAME="robots" CONTENT="noindex">". I can see the logic, but in some web apps, the views are the things that SHOULD be indexed. It must be nice for the PHP people to have full control. Sob.

Just remember, Tone: with absolute power comes absolute corruption. =)

Can't blame Jake for making a good decision.

Domino has it's place on the web - if you utilize all of Domino's functionality. Otherwise you'll be hauling about luggage you don't use, so to speak.
