Okay, so my washing-machine XSL analogy from Monday is flawed. First to point this out was Mike on our way for a sandwich yesterday. If that didn't convince me then I certainly started listening when Ned Batchelder wrote with his interpretation. Still in need of a simple analogy I can use though. Reading the abstract from the W3C's spec doesn't help any... it seems everybody has their own understanding. I suppose it doesn't really matter how you understand it as long as you can get them to do what they're supposed to ;o)
The good to come from this is that Ned has turned me on to DXL, which he designed and implemented before leaving Iris. DXL made a cameo in R5 and is to have a major role in Domino 6. The beauty is that this all ties in with what I've been playing with over the past week or so.
Tomorrow I'll briefly mention why DXL gets me excited....
