Being a fan of neither grafitti nor the increasingly intrusive advertising methods nowadays I have to say that this serves them right.
On the UK's JobServe site today, searching for "Domino and London", there have been 3 Contract roles (one for a day's work, one for admin and the other a J2EE trainer) added and 12 Permanent roles added.
So, what do you do? Take a permanent position and wait for the contract market to pick up? This is what the employers are expecting, obviously. Where does this leave us next time we are in the same position - the same employers telling us "Sorry, we would love to employ you but you resumé shows that you often take on jobs not intending to keep them!". You just can't win...
