Note This tag generates HTML that causes the page to reload when a user clicks it. If you want to save the parameters that you passed into the page, you must use a preserve tag for each parameter you want to save or it will be lost when the page reloads.

Note If a page containing this tag is included in another page using the <jsp:include> action tag, the hypertext link that the validhref attribute creates will not function.

alttext

Text to display as pop-up help, while the image is loading, or if the image is not found. To localize the text, supply replacement arguments using the msg tag in the body of the docnavimg tag. Optional.

If true, marks the new document as a response to the current document. If false, creates a new top-level document. Default is false. The value of this attribute is only evaluated if the type attribute equals W, specifying a new document. Optional.

Size of the border (pixels) to display around the image. Default is 0. Optional.

Image to display when the navigation link is disabled. Optional; if not specified, displays the enabled image.

Image to display when the navigation link is enabled. Optional.

Indicates whether or not the link should be generated when it appears at the end of a view. Default is false. Optional.

Indicates which action to perform when the navigation link is selected. Options are:

S	Save current document.
N	Display next page.
SC	Save and close current document.
D	Delete current document.
DA	Delete selected attachment. Only valid in the context of an attachmentlist tag.
E	Edit current document.
P	Display previous page.
W	Create a new document.

If the current user does not have authorization to perform the action specified in this attribute, the disabled link image displays (if available) and no link is generated. No default; a value is required.

Overrides the validhref attribute of the form tag that contains this tag to indicate which URI the request should be directed to if the current document is closed or deleted. You can only specify a value for this attribute if the type attribute equals SC (saves and closes the document) or D (deletes the document). Optional.
