APPLICATION DESIGN
Fonts
If the fonts used are not the system defaults -- for example, in Windows, Default Sans Serif and Default Serif -- Domino converts font instructions to the HTML <FONT> tag and FACE= attribute to approximate the original font choice. Text may look different to a Web user than it does to a Notes user because the browser determines which fonts to use.
Size
Domino maps the text size you select in IBM® Lotus® Domino(TM) Designer to an HTML text size. The following table lists the text size in IBM® Lotus® Notes® and the corresponding HTML size. Note that Domino does not map font sizes to HTML heading tags (H1, H2, and so on).
To align a column of numbers or to preserve or insert spaces, use the default monospaced font. On a Windows system, the default monospaced font is Courier. Domino converts the default monospaced font to a monospaced font on the Web and preserves any spaces you enter.
Text colors
Web users see the same approximate text colors as Notes users, but the colors may not match exactly.
