APPLICATION DESIGN
CGI variables
When a Web user saves a document or opens an existing document, the IBM® Lotus® Domino(TM) Web server uses CGI variables to collect information about the user, including the user's name, the browser, and the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
To capture this information in a Web application:
Create a field
with the name of a CGI variable.
Create an agent
whose script contains a CGI variable as a DocumentContext property.
