• Outline entries are fully programmable. You can add logic that controls how outline entries are rendered by the IBM® Lotus® Notes® client or Web browser.

To create a navigational structure using an outline, follow these steps:

1. Create a new blank or default outline.

2. Create outline entries for jumps or actions you want to present to the user.

3. Embed your outline on a form or page or in a rich-text field of a document.

4. Format the embedded outline.
